Check Alcorn Supervision Records

To find someone released to the Alcorn Probation & Parole Office, check whether the person remains under Mississippi community supervision. Leaving prison does not always end the sentence. Parole, probation, post-release supervision, and earned-release supervision can all place a person outside a facility while legal duties continue. The MDOC parolee search and the local field office answer supervision questions, while the court is the source for probation orders. An Alcorn County supervision search should distinguish physical release from final discharge and should not treat a missing public result as proof that every obligation ended.

Alcorn Supervised Release Paths

Sheriff Ben Caldwell's docket records a county jail exit, while the local MDOC office documents later supervision routing.

The Alcorn Probation & Parole Office serves people living in the community under MDOC Community Corrections authority. Parole is conditional release from a prison sentence. Probation is court-ordered supervision and may follow a suspended or split sentence. Earned-release supervision is a conditional MDOC release under which the person retains inmate status. None of these terms means final discharge.

A person can be outside ACRCF and still have reporting duties. The local office is the correct routing point for Alcorn supervision questions. The MDOC parolee search can support that status, while the sentencing court explains probation. A state discharge certificate or supervision discharge order is needed to prove the end of the applicable term.

Note: Physical release from prison and legal discharge from supervision are separate events with different records.

Confirm Alcorn Community Release

Begin with the full name and MDOC number if known. Search the MDOC inmate interface for state custody, then the separate parolee interface if parole or community release is expected. Open the full detail and compare identifiers. Do not rely only on an Alcorn filter because an “ALCORN CC” location can appear while the detail's County field differs.

  1. Match the person. Use name and MDOC ID where possible.
  2. Check both states. Review inmate and parolee results separately.
  3. Inspect the detail. Compare county, location, officer, and Flat Time Date.
  4. Call the office. Ask the local field office to confirm public supervision routing.

For probation, use the sentencing court because no separate statewide public probationer search was verified. The Alcorn post-release supervision guide explains the wider verification sequence and parole-board records.

The field office answers local supervision and routing questions. MDOC central records controls sentence calculations, time sheets, and state discharge certificates. The Mississippi State Parole Board controls parole decisions. Keep those roles distinct.

Alcorn Parole Search Fields

The parolee form accepts first name, last name, MDOC ID, city, and county. Public results can show ID number, name, location, and offense, followed by a detail link. Detail fields may include race, sex, birth date, county, supervising officer, Flat Time Date, offenses, and an MDOC image.

RecordWhat it supports
Parolee search matchCommunity supervision, subject to confirmation
Flat Time DateCalculated full-term endpoint, not prison exit
Field-office responseLocal supervision routing
Discharge orderEnd of the named supervision term

An absent result does not prove supervision ended. Spelling, data timing, and the lack of a distinct probationer search all limit that inference.

Alcorn Release Versus Discharge

Parole lets a qualifying prisoner serve part of a sentence under community conditions. Probation is imposed by a court and may not follow a completed prison term. Earned-release supervision is discretionary conditional release and keeps the person within MDOC jurisdiction. Final discharge ends the named custody or supervision term.

The parolee detail's Flat Time Date should not be relabeled as the day the prison gate opened. Likewise, a parole grant may precede physical release because a detainer, approved plan, or other processing step can intervene. Ask for the Board or MDOC action and the actual release record when sequence matters.

Alcorn Parole Decision Records

No verified public named-person Parole Board calendar or results database was found. The Board handles file reviews, in-person hearings, and revocation matters. Some qualifying releases may occur without a conventional hearing under § 47-7-18, so the absence of a hearing entry does not invalidate a release.

A focused request can seek the hearing or review date, action sheet, grant or denial result, releasable reasons, public vote record, reconsideration date, and parole certificate for a named MDOC number. Protected victim information should not be requested. The Board's action and MDOC physical-release record should be read together.

Alcorn Supervision Status Limits

No public MDOC absconder or warrant list was verified. An automated VINE event about supervision absconding is not the same as a court or agency warrant record. Confirm public status with Community Corrections and the issuing authority. A return to custody, technical-violation placement, or revocation also must not be called a new release.

Office staff may limit personal information given by telephone. Ask purpose-neutral questions about the responsible office, public status, and record-request path. Preserve the exact status language. If the person has fully completed supervision, seek the discharge record rather than relying on silence in a search result.

A court disposition may show whether probation was imposed, extended, revoked, or completed. Begin with the court named in the judgment instead of assuming every Alcorn matter belongs to Circuit Court. Pair that order with Community Corrections confirmation for current supervision and with MDOC records for the end of a state sentence.

Parole records may show grant, denial, continuation, release without a conventional hearing, or later revocation. A revocation review may continue parole, place the person in a technical-violation center, or return the person to custody. The exact public order controls the description. An automated absconder notice is not the same as a warrant, and no verified statewide public MDOC warrant list was found.

Completion also needs care. Flat Time Date can mark a full-term endpoint without matching the prison exit. A field-office response can confirm routing without serving as a discharge document. Ask for the order, certificate, or public record that ended the specific parole, probation, or MDOC term.

The Mississippi State Parole Board and MDOC Community Corrections have different roles. The Board makes parole decisions. Community Corrections supervises people after release and routes local status questions. MDOC central records maintains sentence and discharge material. A single call to the Alcorn office may identify the right branch, but it should not be described as the final source for every parole action.

When a violation is alleged, distinguish accusation, warrant, hearing outcome, and custody event. A revocation order can return a person to custody, while a continued-supervision decision leaves parole in place. The public record should support whichever status is reported. No public search result should be stretched beyond its displayed date and fields.

Alcorn Parole and Probation

Parole follows a prison sentence and permits part of that sentence to be served under conditions in the community. The Mississippi State Parole Board decides parole, and MDOC Community Corrections provides supervision. Probation comes from a court. It may accompany a suspended sentence, a split sentence, or another judgment and does not by itself prove that the person completed a prison term.

Post-release supervision and earned-release supervision have their own legal bases. A person on earned-release supervision retains inmate status within MDOC jurisdiction. These labels matter when requesting records. A parole certificate, probation order, MDOC time sheet, and final discharge record do not answer the same question.

Review Alcorn Parole Details

The parolee search offers more controls than the inmate form. A user can search by first and last name, MDOC ID, city, and county. Public results can show ID, name, location, and offense before linking to a detail. The detail may add birth date, county, supervising officer, Flat Time Date, offenses, and an MDOC image.

An observed Alcorn filter quirk requires caution. A result can show “ALCORN CC” as the location while the separate County field differs. The list filter may describe an office or system location rather than prove the meaning a reader assigns to county. Open the full detail and call the Alcorn office instead of reporting every filtered hit as locally supervised.

Preserve the retrieval date and exact labels. Flat Time Date is a calculated sentence endpoint. It is not automatically the prison exit, the start of parole, or proof that supervision has ended. A written discharge record is stronger evidence of completion.

Alcorn Parole Board Fallback

No official named-person public calendar, monthly docket, or decision database was verified for the Mississippi State Parole Board. A records request can identify the MDOC number and seek the hearing or file-review date, action sheet, grant or denial, releasable reasons, public vote record, reconsideration date, and parole certificate. Protected victim details should not be requested.

Some qualifying releases may proceed without a conventional hearing under § 47-7-18. Therefore, absence of a hearing record does not establish that no lawful parole action occurred. Ask whether the matter used the statutory without-hearing route and seek the Board or MDOC action that authorized release.

A grant is also not the physical release timestamp. Processing, a detainer, residence approval, or another condition may delay the exit. Pair the Board action with the MDOC release record and then use the Alcorn field office for current community-supervision routing.
