Give the full name, approximate booking date, and date of birth if appropriate. Request the admission and release date and time, how released or discharged, the releasing authority, and any transfer destination or receipt. For an MDOC-sentenced person, use the MDOC Inmate Search by name or MDOC number. A location indicates state custody, while the field labeled Tentative Release Date is only a projection. Search the separate parolee interface if community supervision is expected. MDOC’s public records channel is the route for a discharge certificate or final release record.

A person who has left the county roster may still be at another facility, on parole, or held under a different authority. VINE and MDOC may describe the same person from different angles. VINE reports events sent for notification.
